The Depot Bouldering Centre in Leeds is one of the largest and busiest bouldering walls in the UK. We currently have a full time Duty Manager role available.

Main Roles of this position will include:

  • Managing the day to day running of the centre and assisting the Centre Manager.
  • Instructing sessions for new and existing customers
  • Signing in customers and assisting them on their visit to the centre
  • Serving customers in the cafĂ©
  • Providing the customers with a high level of service in The Depot Shop


Successful Candidates need to have the following attributes:

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Actively climb and have done so for at least 1 year
  • Previous Managerial Experience. Climbing wall experience preferable.
  • Previous experience of working with groups in a climbing environment
  • The ability to work regular evenings and weekends
  • NGB qualification in climbing CWA or greater. Coaching qualifications preferable.
  • Good I.T. skills and confidence
  • Be available to work in school and university holidays
