Yoga at The Depot Birmingham

As climbers, it is always beneficial to develop our flexibility, balance, coordination, core, strength, endurance, breathing and focus, in order to give our best on the wall.

Yoga can be the perfect cross training to develop all of these skills, and aid in reducing the risk of injuries so that you can climb harder and for longer!


Who runs the sessions?

We have two instructors here in The Climbing Depot, Birmingham

  1. Tuesdays - Daisy - qualified as a hatha yoga teacher in 2016, and she then went on to do a further 200hrs of training in Vinyasa flow, and is registered with Yoga Alliance.

  2. Thursdays - Cat Gavrushova - Our super duty manager, and qualified yoga instructor.

Both classes focus on good technique, building strength and balace, and improving flexibility in important joints to target your climbing improvement.
